چکیده
The Endengue Banded Iron Formation (BIF) is located in the northwestern edge of Congo craton Cameroon. Here, we report geochemical data trace and rare earth elements (REE) BIF samples from Archean Ntem complex investigate their environmental setting. Two types occur at area, both containing minimal contamination terrestrial material. Total REE (ΣREE) contents Type 1 are extremely low, ranging 0.34 to 1.83 ppm, similarly pure chemical sediments while 2 displays ΣREE 2.98 24.26 ppm. PAAS-normalized + Y patterns two display LREE enrichment relative HREE weak positive Eu anomaly, most likely suggesting that source iron siliceous BIFs mainly contribution low-temperature hydrothermal alteration crust. shows very low Nd content (* Ce anomalies which suggests suboxic or anoxic seawater similar depositional environment Elom complex. In contrast, moderate (1 100 ppm with exception sample LBR65) negative correlation between Ce/Ce* anomalies. These features indicate precipatation oxic iron-rich solution changed oxidized surface by rapid precipitation Fe. were deposited continental margin ocean presence fluids mixed seawater, Paleoproterozoic Kpwa-Atog Boga within Nyong group other Superior-type worldwide.

Geochemistry of Major, Trace, and Rare Earth Elements in Biglar Permo-Triassic Bauxite Deposit, Northwest of Abgarm, Ghazvin Province, Iran
Biglar Permo-Triassic bauxite deposit is located in ~15 km northwest of Abgarm, southwest of Ghazvin province, west of central Iran. It consists of 8 stratiform and discontinuous bauxite lenses lying along the contact of Ruteh (Permian) and Elika (Triassic) carbonate formations. Petrographically, the bauxite ores exhibit collomorphic-fluidal, pseudo-breccia, pseudo-porphyritic, panidio-morphic-...

متن کاملThe Marine Geochemistry of the Rare Earth Elements
Novel methods were developed for the determination of 12 of the 14 Rare Earth Elements (REE) in seawater. Initial extractions of the REE by chelating ion exchange chromatography is followed by cation exchange for removal of co-extracted U and remaining traces of major ions. Finally traces of U are removed by anion exchange before irradiation for 8 hours at a flux of 5 x 1013 neutrons.cm-2 .sec~...
متن کاملConcentration and recycling of rare earth elements (REEs) from iron mine waste using a combination of physical separation methods
This study aims to investigate and optimize the effects of the main parameters including the particle size, gravity and magnetic separation combination, high gradient magnetic separation, magnetic field intensity, shaking table slope, washing water flow, and electrostatic separation upon the rare earth element (REE) recoveries from iron mine waste. The electron microprobe showed that high amoun...
